Art Director / Interactive Designer wanted

Clay Ant Creative is looking for a special breed of art director/designer. We're looking for someone with amazing design talent that's complimented by a solid understanding of Internet technology, Internet business and online marketing practices. IOW you're 1 part geek and 1 part creative.

You know who you are. You're the person who will conjure up crisp clean UIs while making sure you're designing with web standards, SEO and usability in mind. You understand the appropriate uses of XHTML, CSS, PHP, FLASH and JavaScript based technologies and you can make design recommendations based on that. You don't have to hand code XHTML and CSS but you could if you wanted too. You know how to design for and have experience with SEO, SEM and Email Marketing campaigns. A Good understanding of CMS systems and how to design for them is of paramount importance.

You can express your ideas particularly well with the written word and verbally. You are able to articulate interaction design with wireframes and other user experience design techniques such as personas, user journeys and information architecture.

Your creative design skills and the ability to justify it with business and marketing logic is your greatest strength.

• Adobe Creative Suite (Ai, Ps, Dw is essential)
• Wireframing software
• Basic HTML & CSS knowledge
• MS Office
• Mac / Pc

Experience

4-6 years at a digital creative agency or similar

Qualifications

A Design Degree or Diploma
